Public Running | On most Sunday afternoons weather permitting, the society operates a passenger service all through the year and the public are more than welcome to visit our track in Springfield Park. We have many different locomotives running throughout the year, where you and your family can enjoy the thrill of a journey behind a hand built model. Come and enjoy the world of Model Engineering, with your young family and you will also find much to amuse them in other areas of the park. |
Visitors Welcome | Live steam loco owners will need their current boiler certificate, together with "Club Membership Card & Insurance". A spark arrestor or smoke deflector would also be required. Battery electric and petrol loco owners will also need their "Club Membership Card & Insurance". For insurance purposes, when visiting, please make yourself known to a club member who will sign you in as a visitor.
